Instructions for the Use of KY2-ZC Type Thyristor Zero-Crossing Flip-flops

  I. overview

  KY2-ZC SCR zero-crossing trigger is a three-phase AC contactless switch SCR trigger controller. It has self-synchronization function, avoids the trouble of traditional thyristor circuit identifying synchronization and phase sequence, and has superior self-detection zero-crossing signal, which is safe and reliable. It is suitable for all kinds of three-phase AC contactless switching circuits, especially for three-phase AC contactless switching devices with shunt compensation capacitors.

  Ⅱ. Performance characteristics

  High reliable thyristor voltage zero-crossing trigger, three-phase independent control, pulse transformer output, high trigger power.

  It has self-synchronization function, avoids the trouble of identifying synchronization and phase sequence in traditional thyristor circuit, and is convenient to use and debug.

  Applicable to resistive load, inductive load, capacitive load and other types.

  Integration structure, simple wiring, good interchangeability.

  Driving ability is strong, each circuit can output 800 mA current, 6V trigger voltage, can drive 4000A thyristor.

  It works reliably, has very strong anti-interference ability, strong applicability and high voltage resistance.

  Ⅳ. Working Principle

  The output trigger pulse of this controller must have two conditions at the same time, one is that the control input is valid and the other is that the voltage at both ends of the silicon is zero. Neither of the two conditions can output trigger pulse. The first cycle of effective control signal detects zero-crossing, and the condition of zero-crossing is satisfied, that is to say, the trigger pulse is output, and the trigger pulse is continuously output in the effective period of the control signal in the future.

  The terminals 1 # and 2 # are connected with 220V working power supply, 4 # terminals output + 15V, which provide power for external control. 5 # and 6 # terminals are A, B and two-phase control input terminals, respectively. The high level is effective, and 8 # terminals are common terminals (GND).

  10 -17 is the output terminal of trigger pulse. The terminal marked G is "+" and the terminal marked K is "-".

  The panel of the controller has six pulse output indicators, power supply indicators and control indicators. When power is on, the power supply indicator is on; the six-channel pulse indicator is synchronized with the trigger pulse output, and the indicator is on when the pulse output is on.

  V. Usage

  1. Wiring: Refer to wiring table and figure 2.

  If switch control is used, 5 #, 6 # and 4 # are connected respectively. If external high-level signal control is adopted, 5 # and 6 # correspond to 7 # plus 5-24V DC voltage, 10 #-17 # respectively connect G and K poles of thyristor. Note that G and K of controller A + correspond to GA+, KA+, and so on, no misconnection can be made.

  In order to prevent interference, given the control line, AC power line is best separately, and as short as possible. If it is inconvenient to separate the wiring, the twisted shielding wire is used for the given control wire.

  2. Testing and debugging.

  Check wiring before switching on, and check insulation between power lines and other control lines with multimeter to ensure that everything is correct.

  Take off the main load and test it with a resistive test load. Especially when the load is a capacitor or motor or other circuit, the actual load must be taken off during the test. An incandescent lamp or an electric furnace is connected with a connection type suitable for the working voltage to do the test load. After the experiment is correct, the actual load is restored.

  . Exclusion of Abnormal State

  1. SCR has no output, no current or voltage:

  ○ The panel PW indicator is not on and SCR cannot work. Please check whether the power of the trigger is connected correctly.

  ○ Check whether the control indicator is on or not. If the light is not on, please check whether the control signal is connected correctly.
